SUPERSILENT
This time I will recommend whole discography of Norwegian group Supersilent. Some avantagrde improvisation, electronic jazz, call it how you like, but get it as fast as you can and enjoy pure GENIUS of their music. This group shows that not everything in music is already said!

Tiamat - Wildhoney
Now, that is something amazing. Death/black and all that blahblahblah shit band Tiamat recorded VERY soft gothic/progressive-like rock album. And it just ROCKS. What they made after it is pure boring shit, but Wildhoney is a MASTERPIECE. GET IT!!!

Paradise Lost - Draconian Times
Very good piece of doom/gothic rock, not as heavy as their earlier stuff, and not as faggish as later.

Philip Glass - Music in Twelve Parts
Glass written this monumental piece in early 70's. You can enjoy it as compendium of his composing techniques, as well as listen it just for aesthetic pleasure (which is recommended by me). If you do not know it, you're obliged to check this NOW!
Fennesz O'Rourke Rehberg – The Magic Sound Of Fenn O'Berg
Electronic improvisation by three well known guys: Christian Fennesz, Peter Rehberg and Jim O'Rourke. Very good piece of music. ENJOY!

Diagnose: Lebensgefahr - Transformalin
Something you may rarely see in mainstream music - album recorded as part of therapy in hospital. Mental one. On the record almost none of typical musical instruments were involved. Check this out, it really works musically (really, the music even WITHOUT the story is very cool)

Ars Duo - Saxophone Conversations
Again classical music, more or less contemporary. Check this out, here is promo video, but the whole CD is highly recommended; buy it or get it other way, but listen to it for sure!
Francisco Guerrero - Zayin
This is excellent cycle, written by great XX century spanish composer Guerrero on request by the Arditti Quartet. Few string pieces, quartets, trios, even solos, high class compositions. enjoy

Sergei Djokanov - The Green Desert
This is electronic album from bulgarian 80's. You may find it a bit oldy, maybe naive music, but I think it should be listened at least once.

invitation
hello everybody, welcome to my dominion. I am going to post here some music I enjoy. There won't be ANY analysis, or fucking-around-the-bush about emotions, meanings and shit like that; we think of music as pure aesthetic pleasure. I will post titles of good records, maybe link to discogs and if possible to youtube. I won't give links or info which can be easily found - the idea is to recommend music to you, not to hand records to you on a plate. Feel free to comment, here is "total free speech zone", comments can be related to music, but they do not have to - just write what you want. stay cool
